Benfotiamine efficiency in the stabilization of diabetic peripheral polyneuropathy

One of the most frequent complications of diabetes is diabetic sensorimotor peripheral polyneuropathy (DSPN). B vitamins successfully used for the treatment DSPN. However, prolonged use of vitamins B6 and B12 in effective doses limited by the comorbidities and possibility of the neurotoxic reactions development, as for vitamin B1, its low bioavailability of water-soluble forms.
